Harmon Blennerhassett eventually returned to England and finally died in 1831. He was interred on Guernsey Island. Blennerhassett did not want any visitors to his grave and requested to be buried at night without a marker.
The Blennerhassett Mansion burned to the ground in 1811, but a detailed replica was built on it's original foundations at the Blennerhassett Island State Park. The park is accessed vis a stern wheeler riverboat from Point Park in Parkersburg West Virginia.
